so anyway ordered guild wars and looking at many SS i figured that the max level is 20 (all hail lord of the obvious) so anyway i was thinkin level 20 thats a little low... but then i thought... and thought... and thought....then ate..and thought some more... and decided to make this thread.

is getting to level 20 hard at all?

is it like 3 day boom your 20?

or is it something so rediculous like FFXI where it takes approximately a year to get level 75..(and yes i did the math NOT including limit break quests)?

yes..... u need like a week and a half took me only 13 days....... w/ quests and stuff....

there are 25 missions (non pvp) to start
there are 60-70 explorable areas (non pvp, not small) to start with additional content to be added by streaming in

Guild Wars, in contrast, is based around your skill as a player. Our maximum level is twenty and you hit that very quickly, after about 20-30 hours of play. ,We call that 'The Point of Ascension'. Almost all of the content in the game and in the future Chapters is only available to Ascended characters, which means we don't have to worry about providing different levels of content. All the good stuff will be available to everyone. It's not our intent to force people onto the levelling up treadmill, so the level cap in Guild Wars is almost meaningless.

With the help of a guild, there's been people who have gone from creation to 20 in a single secession. There's a quest in the game, a mission really, that will take you from what ever you are to 20. In getting to 20 you only really see about 25% or so of the explorable area. The real game begins at 20... think of the leveling process as a tutorial.

This game isn't really about levels so much as the gathering of skills.

I've had the game for about a week... and i'm still kinda stuck at 15 at lions arch... but i would like to know what mission are you talking about? that shoots u striaght to 20?
